## Vineyard AI Assistant

VineyardElf integrates with leading AI models (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to create an intelligent vineyard assistant that knows your data.

### What the assistant can do

- **Answer questions about your vineyard** — “When did I last spray?” → checks the spray log
- **Analyze weather** — “Can I spray this week?” → checks the rain and wind forecast
- **Advise on diseases** — “What is the powdery mildew risk?” → analyzes humidity and temperature
- **Help with production** — “What is the optimal fermentation temperature for Riesling?” → draws on the knowledge base

### Data sources

The AI assistant has access to:
1. **Vineyard knowledge base** — your notes, documents, recipes
2. **Real-time data** — current weather, winery temperature, disease risk
3. **Operations history** — spray log, batch cards, irrigation logs
4. **General knowledge** — knowledge base on viticulture and winemaking

### Supported AI models

### How to enable

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations → AI**
2. Select a provider and enter your API key
3. The assistant is available in the dashboard and via chat
