## Label Generator

WineryElf includes a built-in label generator that allows you to create professional wine bottle labels compliant with European Union regulations (Regulation 2021/2117).

### Features

- **Label templates** — ready-made layouts tailored to various bottle formats (Bordeaux, Burgundy, Riesling)
- **Mandatory EU information** — automatic population of required data: energy value, allergens, ingredients, alcohol content
- **QR codes with data** — generation of QR codes containing full composition information (as required by the EU since December 8, 2023)
- **Data from batch card** — automatic retrieval of data from the batch card (grape variety, vintage, alcohol)
- **Print-ready export** — export in high-resolution PDF format (300 DPI)

### How to create a label

1. Go to **WineryElf → Labels**
2. Click **New Label**
3. Choose a template or start from scratch
4. Link to a batch card (data will be populated automatically)
5. Add your winery logo and artwork
6. Generate a QR code with composition data
7. Export to PDF

### Regulatory compliance

Since December 8, 2023 (EU Regulation 2021/2117), wine labels must include:
- Energy value (kJ/kcal)
- List of ingredients
- Allergen information (sulfites)
- This data may be provided via a QR code
